All of these images have been taken between January 2000 when I started this project and June 2003 when I had to put this project on hold. I used an older Nikon 35mm camera with a variety of prime lenses20mm, 28mm, 35mm, 85mm and 200mm. I also carry a small, older, lightweight tripod that rises to eye level.
All the film was Kodak Portra 160 color negative or Kodachrome 64 Professional reversal, which I have developed by Keeble and Shuchat in Palo Alto, CA. I like the work they do. Prints they do in-house and Kodachrome was done by Kodak.
This site was produced on a Macintosh using Adobe Photoshop 5.x and 6.x and is optimized for a gamma of 1.8 (Mac) and a screen resolution of 800x600. On a PC the images should look a little dark.
Fortunately that resolution is excellent for mobile devices.
