A Note on the Images

Virtually all of these images were taken in the 1970's. The large format images were taken with a Deardorff 5x7 camera with a 4x5 back and Schneider optics. Film was either Plus-X or Super-XX. Sadly the era of film is almost over and that camera sits as a curiosity in my living room.

The small format images are 35mm and these images were taken with a variety of prime Nikkor lenses on a Nikon F2. All the color film was Kodachrome 25 or Portra 160 VC processed by Kodak and the black & white is Plus-X or the Ilford equivalent developed in Edwal FG-7 or Rodinal.

This site was produced on a Macintosh using Adobe Photoshop 5.x & 6.x and is optimized for a gamma of 1.8 (Mac) and a screen resolution of 800x600.
